What is ImageTools?
ImageTools is a set of free image editing and optimization tools that runs directly in your browser, with no need to install anything, create an account, or send files to external servers.
Built to be simple and accessible, the site brings together the most common everyday image tasks in one place: compressing photos for the web, converting between formats, resizing for social media, creating color palettes, generating logos, and more.
All processing happens on your device. Your images never leave your computer or phone — not even to our servers.

Our philosophy
Technology
ImageTools is built with modern, native web technologies, with no back-end dependency for image processing:
- Canvas API — compression, conversion, resizing, color extraction and manipulation, and favicon generation
- File API — reading files from your device without uploading them to a server
- Anthropic Claude API — AI-powered SVG logo generation (key provided by the user)
- Dynamic SVG — real-time vector generation for the non-AI logo creator
- JSZip — client-side packaging of multiple files for ZIP download
- K-means clustering — clustering algorithm used to extract dominant colors from images
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages with automatic HTTPS, a global CDN, and no dedicated server — which ensures speed and availability regardless of traffic volume. All tools run directly in the browser, with no files sent to any server.
How is the site funded?
ImageTools is funded exclusively by ads shown through Google AdSense. We don't charge for using the tools, we don't sell user data, and we have no paid plans.
The ads appear on the site's pages and are the only source of revenue that lets us keep the project free. If you use an ad blocker and like the site, consider disabling it for imagetools.com.br as a way to support the project.
