Rotate 90°, 180° or 270°, use a free angle and flip your images. Several at once, with a .zip download — all in the browser, no file uploads.

Drag your images here
or click to select — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP. You can pick several at once.

How to rotate and flip images online

To rotate an image, click the upload area or drag your files straight in — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP are supported. You can select several images at once and add more later without losing what is already loaded. Each image gets its own tab in the preview area, and the "×" button on the tab removes that image from the batch.

The controls sit in the left column and the preview on the right, following the page as you scroll: every adjustment shows up on the image immediately, with no need to scroll back to check the result.

Use the quick rotation buttons to turn the image 90° clockwise, 90° counterclockwise or 180°. Each click adds to the current angle: three clicks of +90° are the same as a 270° rotation. To straighten slightly tilted photos, the free angle control accepts any value between -180° and +180°, typed into the field or dragged on the slider. Each image keeps its own rotation — and the "Apply to all" button repeats the current turn across the whole batch when every photo needs the same fix.

Flipping works independently of rotation. "Horizontal" mirrors the left-right axis — ideal for selfies or front camera shots that come out mirrored. "Vertical" mirrors the top-bottom axis. Both can be combined with any rotation.

When you are done, choose the output format (PNG to keep transparency, JPG for a smaller file, WebP for the best compression) and download either the image in focus or all of them at once in a .zip file. Everything runs on the browser's Canvas API — no file is ever sent to an external server.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens directly in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Which image formats are supported?
The tool supports JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP. The result can be downloaded as PNG, JPG or WebP, whichever you prefer.
Can I rotate several images at once?
Yes. Select or drag as many images as you like and use the "Add more images" button to include others later. Each image has its own rotation, and the "Apply to all" button copies the current turn to the whole batch. At the end you can download just the image in focus or all of them in a .zip file.
How do I rotate a profile photo for Instagram or WhatsApp to the correct orientation?
Use the quick rotation buttons (90° clockwise or counterclockwise) until the image is in the position you want. For portrait photos that appear sideways, a 90° rotation usually fixes it. Download as JPG for a smaller size and share directly.
What's the difference between rotating and flipping an image?
Rotating spins the image around its center — useful for fixing photo orientation. Flipping creates a mirror image: horizontal flips left/right (like a mirror), vertical flips top/bottom. Both operations can be combined for the result you want.
How do I use free rotation with a custom angle to fix crooked photos?
In the free rotation field, type the desired angle (from -180 to 180 degrees) or drag the slider. Small values like 2° or 3° are ideal for straightening the horizon in slightly tilted photos. The image previews in real time.
Can I combine rotation and flipping on the same image?
Yes. You can apply any rotation (quick or free) and then flip the image. All transformations are accumulated and applied together when you download.
