ポートレートは、素人と職業写真家の差がほぼ光だけで決まるジャンルです。同じ顔、同じ服、同じ場所を二人が書いても、一方は証明写真に、もう一方は雑誌の表紙になります。その差を生んでいるのは、光とレンズについての5〜6語です。

プロらしい一枚を決めているもの
結果のほとんどは3つの変数で決まります。そのどれも、顔ではありません。
光。 最も重要で、最も書き忘れられる要素です。やわらかい横からの光は人を引き立て、正面からの硬い光は顔を平坦にし、逆光は劇的にします。光の指定がないプロンプトには、のっぺりした無個性な照明が当てられます。スマホのフラッシュで撮ったような、あの顔です。
レンズと距離。 焦点距離が短いと顔が歪みます。鼻は大きく、耳は小さく写るのです。カメラマンが85mm以上を使うのはそのためです。プロンプトにレンズを書くと、モデルの中でその一式が起動します。パースの圧縮も、背景のぼけも含めてです。
具体的な表情。 happy は抽象的で、ありきたりな笑顔しか出てきません。subtle smile with slightly narrowed eyes なら再現できます。感情ではなく、筋肉が何をしているかを書いてください。
💡 手早い確認方法： プロンプトから光の指定を抜いて、もう一度生成してみてください。大きく変わるなら、いいプロンプトだったということです。ほとんど変わらないなら、光を本当には書けておらず、漠然とした形容詞を並べていただけです。
覚えておきたい8つのライティング
以下の名前は、それぞれモデルの中で視覚パターンをまるごと呼び出します。3〜4つ覚えて使い分けるだけでも十分です。

表情を平凡にせずに書く方法
AIポートレートを最も大きく改善するのに、いちばん実行されていない工夫です。抽象的な感情語からはストックフォトのような表情が出てきます。筋肉の動きで書けば、本物らしい顔になります。

ポートレート用のネガティブプロンプト

特に効くのが plastic skin と overly smooth skin の2つです。画像モデルは肌を滑らかにしすぎる癖があり、それこそがポートレートを作り物に見せている原因です。本体のプロンプトで質感を求め、ネガティブ側で過剰な平滑化を打ち消せば、問題の大半は解決します。
つまずきやすいポイント
- 光を書かない。 最も多く、最も高くつく失敗です。ライティングの指定がなければ、顔は平坦に写ります。
- 表情ではなく感情を書く。 happy と書けば、誰もが一目でAIと分かる、あのありきたりな笑顔が出てきます。
- レンズを書かない。 焦点距離を宣言しないと、顔のパースがわずかに歪みがちです。
- 完璧な肌を求める。 質感のない肌は、生成画像であることの最も分かりやすい印です。毛穴と微細なディテールを指定してください。
- 人数を増やしすぎる。 3人を超えたあたりから、顔の破綻率が一気に上がります。
- 手を目立たせるポーズ。 手はいまだに弱点です。必須でないなら、避けるか隠してください。
- 形容詞を積み上げる。 beautiful, amazing, masterpiece は、視覚的に具体的なことを何ひとつ伝えません。
生成したあと、使える形に整える
ポートレートは、たいていプロフィール写真か、企業素材か、SNS用の一枚になります。行き先ごとに必要な調整があります。
無地の背景に置き換える。 企業のプロフィール写真や合成用なら、 背景を削除 て透過PNGで保存しておけば、背景をブランドの好きな色に差し替えられます。
正方形に整える。 SNSのプロフィールは、正方形の上に円形のトリミングをかけます。 画像の切り抜き で顔を中央に寄せておけば、意図しない位置で切られずに済みます。
シャープさを整える。 仕上がりがわずかに甘いときは、 シャープ化 で瞳の解像感を戻せます。人の目がピントを探すのは、そこだからです。
シリーズをそろえる。 チーム全員分を用意するなら、 サイズ変更 で寸法をそろえ、サイトに上げる前に 圧縮 を通しておきましょう。
💡 プロフィール写真の場合： ミディアムショットで生成し、あとから切り抜いてください。最初からクローズアップで作ると、SNSの円形トリミングに対する余白が足りなくなります。あのトリミングは、思っているより深く切ります。

よくある質問
AIで作った人物写真が作り物っぽくなるのはなぜですか？
ほとんどの場合、原因は肌です。画像モデルは肌を滑らかにしすぎる傾向があり、毛穴も微細なディテールもない肌は、生成画像であることの最も分かりやすい印になります。対処は2段階です。本体のプロンプトで visible skin texture を明示し、ネガティブプロンプトに plastic skin, overly smooth skin を入れること。次に多い原因は平坦な照明で、これも人形めいた印象に加担します。
プロフィール写真にはどのライティングが向いていますか？
横からのソフトボックスとレフ板というスタジオ照明が、仕事用としては最も安全です。やわらかく、制御が効き、硬い影も気を散らす演出も出ません。企業向けの範囲でもう少し人柄を出したいなら、横からの窓光がよく効き、より自然に見えます。レンブラントやスプリットライトはアート寄りのポートレート用に取っておきましょう。ビジネスの文脈では目立ちすぎます。
手がいまだに崩れるのはなぜですか？
手はポーズの幅が極端に広く、学習に使われた写真の多くでは一部しか写っていないか、ぼけています。そのためモデルは安定した構造を学びにくいのです。最近の版でかなり改善しましたが、いまも弱点であることに変わりはありません。実務上は、手を前面に出すポーズを避け、ネガティブプロンプトに deformed hands, extra fingers を入れ、手がどうしても必要な場合は位置を曖昧にせず正確に書いてください。
実在の人物のポートレートを生成できますか？
